Who we are
2010 I was a stay-at-home mom raising three daughters while my husband worked and provided for the family. In September 2010 my husband passed unexpectedly so I entered into corporate America to be able to support my family.
In 2015 my mother while in Minnesota bought a set of two amazing rugs at a small general store. So in 2016 when a kind couple gifted me a loom I decided to try my hand at making my own amazing rugs. My mother also started weaving and we both found that its was a great way to relax.
By 2017 we were weaving as a hobby and we were asked if we wanted to start attending the Farmers Market in Hiawatha, Ia. Joining the Farmers Market community was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The small vendor community that we have been apart of is very welcoming and supportive. They have helped us as we have grown from a hobby, to small a business. In 2024 we opened our website and started exploring all the creative ways to inspire others on more Social media platforms and plan to still be a part of our local Hiawatha, Iowa Farmers Market.
Now I am weaving full-time and have been able to walk away from the stress of Corporate America. With the support of my amazing family and vendor community.
